The Overusing of forest resources
The overusing of forest resources will bring out negative effects to our life, like degradation of environment quality, flood, landslide, erosion, sedimentation, lost of biodiversity and country income. Everything happens because of illegal logging.
Illegal logging causes the lost of water source, which based on water absorption cycle, where root system of the tree in the forest no longer be functioning as rain precipitation. Therefore, water can no longer be absorbed by the soil and land water flow only functioning as a dissolver of soil substances.
It also causes the failure of preserving water precipitation which holds water from the leaf’s, branch’s, and stem’s surface to the xylem. The water will be brought to the entire surface of the soil and saved as reservation. When it exceeds the storage capacity, water will be flown and that is the water which supplies the life necessity of the people.
With all the negative effect that can be happened, it’s important to us to prevent the overusing and the destruction of forest resources because the effect they cause can stop human activity.
